Biological remediation of desert, sandy and dusty substrates

The subject matter of the invention is the method of biological reclamation of desert, sandy and dusty substrates, devoid of soil, in extreme climatic conditions, especially in hot climates, including increased salinity. It consists in applying layers consisting mainly of waste fibrous materials and other additives to the substrate, which are laid out in an appropriate manner and optionally equipped with an irrigation system.

IZOLING mass for covering municipal waste

in the so-called “ballast"; going to the landfill from the municipal waste sorting installation there is still about 85% of the fraction that can be used as a raw material for the production of the IZOLING mass. This fraction consists of paper, cardboard, textiles, plastics and organic materials. Reclamation of industrial areas

This method makes it possible to eliminate the most troublesome sludge, settling ponds and post-industrial marshes through the phytoremediation process. This method is the cheapest way to bring our environment to a friendly coexistence. The Izoling material was put into ordinary jute bags, the bags were packed (and therefore the name of the duvet) and sewn together, the duvets were covered with cut reed beds and the individual duvets were fastened together, fastening them to the shore from both sides so that the wind would not move them. After 6 days of acclimatization, the cuttings started to grow very quickly, pulling the duvet under the surface of the water surface. After the final research it was found that over the root of ca. 12cm were accumulated compounds of aggressive metals harmful to health.

Biological activation of the pulp produced from waste fibrous materials

transported to the area deprived of the fertile soil layer. This layer is spread out and seeded with plant seeds. Sloping areas with a steep gradient, such as roadside slopes, are exposed to the risk of leaching the upper layer of soil. Recently observed weather anomalies not only in Europe but also on other continents - including significant precipitation or droughts - cause in one case the flushing of the fertile layer and in the other the erosion of the soil. These factors cause a deficit of this “raw material". Desert areas are expanding considerably. Izoling can be an alternative to these negative effects - in the absence of precipitation it forms a layer to prevent erosion
